Columbarium
Quite a large piece, this Columbarium towers at approximately 10 feet in height. This original design is based on Medieval Romanesque reliquaries. With a gold leafed wood construction and an impressive bronze framework gate, the majesty of the Columbarium expresses the importance of its inhabitants. The gate itself is inlaid with cast glass panels depicting the Lamb of God and liturgical symbols and ornament hand painted with 24 karat gold and then kiln fired for permanency. The roof is layered in copper enamel shingles and inlaid copper enamel decoration is also used throughout the rest of the piece.
Tabernacle
An originally designed Tabernacle and Tabernacle Throne was created specifically for the First Lutheran Church. This Tabernacle is in the form of a triptych. With the doors closed, hand formed copper panels of the Four Evangelists are seen set into the oak framework. Upon opening the outer panels, several oil paintings are revealed. The center depicts the Pieta, and the outer panels two candle bearing angels. The center painting, when opened, reveals a bronze tabernacle barred by a single cast bronze door with the image of "The Lamb of God."
